URANUS
•Seventh planet from the Sun.
•Third largest, diameter 51,800 km.
•Atmosphere with layer of blue-green clouds
•Mostly rock and ice.
•Has 11 rings around it, but difficult to see, too
faint.
•First visited by spaceship, Voyager 2, in 1986.
•At
least 22 satellites - two largest are Titania & Oberon.
